First emerging as an artist in the late ’90s with the band CUFF, Lee Horrocks gained early support from John Peel, BBC Radio 1 and Radio 2, and MTV Europe. After winning London Music Week, CUFF went on to tour extensively across the UK and Europe, building a growing following that ultimately led to the band signing with Atlantic Records in the US under legendary label founder Ahmet Ertegun.
In the years that followed, Lee’s path took him deeper into songwriting, recording and production, working across both sides of the Atlantic while continuing to develop his own voice as an artist. Now signed to Sony Music Publishing as a songwriter, and after a long period spent helping shape the music of others, he is turning that focus back toward his own songs and live work.
Based between the UK and the US, Lee is currently developing new material and preparing for a return to the stage, with shows planned in Europe and the US in 2027. His music draws on a lifetime of influences — from his Liverpool roots and British songwriting traditions to the sounds and sensibilities absorbed through years spent in London, New York, Nashville, Los Angeles and beyond.
As a multi-instrumentalist, Lee moves naturally between guitar, piano, bass and drums, creating music that can be stripped-back and intimate one moment, expansive and cinematic the next. At the centre of it all is the song.
This next chapter puts the artist firmly back at the centre — new music, new performances and a renewed focus on the work that started it all.
